This Formula SAE Steering Rack is the perfect solution for the most demanding lightweight race cars.
With a Carbon Fiber and Aluminum body, it provides zero backlash thanks to a robust NiCrMo Helical Rack and Pinion
The Steering Rack is available in 3 different sizes: 400mm, 450mm, and 500mm.
These options make our steering rack suitable for every lightweight Formula car need, especially Formula SAE.
It perfectly matches our Formula SAE Steel Spline Coupler and Formula SAE Alumium Spline Coupler for a perfect connection to your Steering Column.
Upgrade it with a Formula SAE Rotary Sensor for Steering Rack ! The Rotary Sensor needs 12V power supply input and gives a 5V output signal. The measured angle is internally converted from digital 12 bit to analog so that it can be easily read from the most common data-logger.
Be careful: we had to change our supplier for these components, so they are not guaranteed to correctly fit any product manufactured prior to 2024!
